Praetura Ventures Welcomes Fluid.work And Cyclr
The Praetura portfolio has grown once again with the arrival of two exciting early-stage businesses with significant potential. The first is Fluid.work, which has created an all-in-one business management tool that combines visual dashboards and intuitive integrations with the aim of bringing siloed teams and processes together in one place. Cyclr, meanwhile, is a key player in the iPaaS sector, which provides integrations into third-party software. This enables SaaS businesses to connect their customers’ data with external third-party software and tools, which is vital if a SaaS product is to work as intended.

‘Pioneer’ of Contextual Advertising Joins Illuma Technology
The co-founder of contextual targeting giant Grapeshot, a global tech data provider that was sold to the Oracle Corporation in 2018, has joined Illuma Technology as a shareholder and active investor. John Snyder, whose work and career closely aligns with Illuma’s cookieless ad targeting, says he was drawn to Illuma’s offering, which uses contextual advertising and AI to target audiences.

Ostara Joins Tech4Eva’s Accelerator
Ostara Biomedical has been named as one of 15 early-stage companies that will take part inTech4Eva. The nine-month accelerator programme is designed for companies that are innovating within the women’s health sector and connects businesses with leading FemTech hubs, investors and customers worldwide. Ostara is behind the Evie™ intra uterine insemination (IUI) device, which is a less invasive alternative to IVF that aims tomake access to fertility care fairer.

BankiFi Launches Open Cash Management
BankiFi has launched its Open Cash Management platform – a supercharged version of its existing offering, built with speed and compliance in mind. Designed for use by SMEs via their banking providers, the platform enables businesses to manage invoicing, payments, collections, accounting, cash forecasting and working capital optimisation insights. XR Games Celebrate Their First Acquisition
XR Games has welcomed VR studio Fierce Kaiju toits XR family, marking the company’s first-ever major acquisition. The move is intended to help XR ‘safely and effectively’ scale, confirmed XR CEO and founder Bobby Thandi, who has just been nominated for the Transformational Leader award at the Northern Leadership Awards. The acquisition follows continued growth for XR and record sales for the Leeds studio’s hugely successful title Zombieland: Headshot Fever.
